What is your refund policy?

Once your order is locked down, we will not provide a refund or exchange. You’ll be given 48 hours notice before your order is locked down, so you can make any necessary changes before you are charged. The only time we will give a refund or send a replacement, is if an item is damaged in transit. If you use or wear one of your items, and it gets damaged a week later, we will not replace it. Since this is a Kickstarter, we’ve already notified backers that the physical pins may look different than the mockup in terms of color or size. We will not provide a refund if you do not like the pin because it differs in color or size.

When will shipping begin?

The estimated date for this project to begin shipping rewards is June 30th, 2019. While we don’t foresee any issues, crowdfunded campaigns are subject to occasional delays. Please keep in mind that June 30th is when we begin shipping out orders, but this doesn’t mean all 4000+ orders will be sent at one time. Shipping happens in waves, so you should receive your rewards sometime in July or the first two weeks of August.

How do I select which pins I want?

After the campaign ends, you’ll receive a survey from a company called BackerKit. This survey will be distributed via email. You’ll be able to choose which pins you want, and add your shipping information.

I can't find the Rise Up PTSD Pin (The Phoenix Pin)

We accidentally forgot to add this image into our final graphic. When you click the drop down menu to choose your pin design, just look for the Rise Up option, that is the phoenix pin you are looking for.

My country is not on your shipping list, will you ship to my country?

The answer is possibly or maybe?

Please contact us directly with which country you want to ship to, and we’ll let you know if it’s possible. If we agree to ship to your country, please choose The U.K. option as your shipping country. When you let us know which country you want to ship to, we can’t guarantee an exact shipping rate, but we will give you an estimate. Once the campaign has ended, you will be able to choose your correct shipping country on your BackerKit survey.

When shipping internationally we will make every effort to properly fill out customs forms. We will abide by your countries customs and shipping laws, which means we will denote the package value as the cost of your order. We are not responsible if your country holds your package and requires extra payment to release it.

What if my package is returned to sender?

If we receive a package with a RTS (Return to Sender) sticker on it, whether that be from an incorrect address, or a failure to pay import taxes, we will not refund your order. We will ship your order back out to you, but you’ll need to pay for postage again. Before we begin fulfillment, you’re given a 48 hour notice to update your shipping address. If you need help updating your shipping address at any time, you can reach out to [email protected].

Will these pins be available for purchase after the campaign ends?

If you miss the campaign, these pins will be available through a pre-order store. Once the campaign has ended, a button will appear at the top of the campaign page that says “pre-order here”.

Can I get an invoice for my donation to a charity, for tax purposes?

The answer to this question is unfortunately no. While we are collecting funds for donations, all the money collected will be donated at once by The Snarky Company. If you’d like to make a donation and write it off on your taxes, please donate directly to the organization through their website.

If I order Snarky Co. Pins that are already manufactured, will I receive these before my OYS pins?

The answer is no. Any add-on items, whether they’re something we have in stock or not, will be shipped all together with your pledge rewards at the end of June.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
